Antwerp Station! I don't know if tiredness had made me overly giddy, but when we arrived here one evening on one of many trains to Amsterdam, I was awestruck. Ignorantly I hadn't really heard of Antwerp, but it had the most beautiful train station, it looked like a giant astronomical clock.

Travels-Paris.

So summer started off pretty slow, just hung around doing anything that didn't cost much. Then in July I left and saw some of Europe. After an anticlimactic arrival into a grey, rain swept bus depot in northern Paris our trip begun. Determined to forget the horrendous year 8 French trip I ran around seeing as much as I could in three days. Drinking in front of the Eiffel Tower, The Musee Rodin, Sacre-Coeur/Montmartre, Notre Dame, Pere Lechaise and some overpiced Cokes.

Exams were nearly over, and the sun came out, so we made a trip to the park.

Carey Mulligan

I finally watched An Education last night. I loved everything about it, particularly Carey Mulligan. She is amazing, she has become so successful overnight and she didn't even want to go into acting until a few years ago.I can't wait to see her new film released this September with Shia LeBeouf (also, that is such an odd name, is it actually 'the beef' in French?? weird') Anyway the scene where they drink wine by the Seine made me so excited for my trip to Paris.

Revision/Boredom

This is the next month, no exciting pictures in the near future, just the revision bun, make-up-less tired expression as I face a mountain of sonnets, epics and what feels like everything that was ever written. On the plus side I am at home where I am bought tea and biscuits at regular intervals.

I cannot wait until summer.
